About Us
Our Mission
Established in 2023 by a group of OSU medical students, Street Medicine at Ohio State brings critical healthcare services directly to those experiencing homelessness, breaking down barriers to trust and access. Our teams deliver care, distribute essential supplies, and offer medical guidance within familiar environments, fostering trust and bridging the gap in traditional healthcare access. We're aware of the complex obstacles that people experiencing homelessness face when accessing healthcare, and removing these obstacles is central to our mission.
Meet our Faculty Advisors!
This work would not be possible without the support from our advisors. They provide us with guidance and help our students sharpen their clinical skills. Additionally, they accompany our medical student volunteers during our mobile clinic outreach events and aid in direct care delivery.
